AT LAS VEGAS HARLEY DAVIDSON

Set up at LVHD on the 1st of March and it has been great. Super location and great attendance. Lots of patriotic people in Vegas. The media has been great and the weather is nice. Check out the pictures below. The Cannery casino has provided us rooms and support and things are going well. The Air Force provided the color guard and an Airman to sing the National Anthem. The hospital commander from Nellis also spoke and gave a stirring patriotic tribute to every veteran.
Wayne Newton was here for the opening ceremony. What a great American. He spoke for a few minutes then helped us lay the POW/MIA wreath and the Gold Star Mothers wreath. He spent about 10 minutes with a mother who had lost her son in Iraq and then stayed to shake hands and take pictures with everyone. He is truly an amazing and patriotic man. We have a whole new appreciation for his contribution to our country. If you ever get a chance, thank him for all he has done and continues to do.

Las Vegas Harley Davidson has been a superb sponsor and gone way above and beyond to support us and to allow the best possible presentation. Dawn and her staff are on top of everything. We cant thank them enough.
