Another great day, sunshine, very moving closing ceremony with gold star mothers in attendance and participating in the ceremony. We will be taking down and moving all the men and women on the gold dog tags and the wall to our next location. It was an outstanding event. Very well done Oshkosh.

Thank you guys for bringing this memorial to Oshkosh. It was an honor to host this very special tribute to all those fallen heroes. You guys are awesome! Thank you to the American Legion Auxiliary and especially my mom, Nancy Helms, for organizing this event and letting me be apart of it.
Thank you to all those who have served, are serving and will be some day, come home safe. To those who have fallen like my Uncle Ricky, you are missed. We love you.
